Well hello there August! The weather isn't quite as summery as we had hoped for so here are our favourite vintage and handmade finds of the week to brighten up the day! All of these fabulous exhibitors will be taking part in our next event - The End Of Summer Vintage & Handmade Fair on Saturday 20th August at Market Square Lisburn.
After what seems like a really long break since our last event on 5th June we are getting super excited for this Sunday 31st July when we are back with The Great Summer Holiday Vintage & Handmade Fair taking place at the Marine Court Hotel on Bangor's beautiful seafront!
With the fair opening at Noon and ending at 5pm there will be lots to see, buy and do. On arriving at the Marine Court Hotel you will be greeted in the ground floor reception by a fantastic showcase of vintage, antique and industrial furniture, curiosities and homewares from two of our favourite vintage collector dealers - The Natural Room Emporium and On The Square Emporium.
Making your way to the Ballroom on the first floor, using the lift or stairs, you will then be greeted by not only a fantastic marketplace of vintage and handmade treasures but you will also have the opportunity to participate in taster craft sessions with the lovely ladies from Crafty Teas and to get involved in an attempt to beat the world record for the largest patchwork Christmas stocking with NI Big Sock (and you don't even have to be able to sew to take part).
Not forgetting our fabulous stallholders, you will also be able to shop til you drop from a great selection of vintage, handmade & upcycled wares including clothing and fashion accessories, china and homewares, fabric, haberdashery and soft furnishings, sweet treats and artisan foods, jewellery, original art, candles, male grooming products, toys, children & baby wear, beauty products and much more. With 30+ stalls there will be something for everyone - here is a little taster of what to expect on the day...........
The Great Summer Holiday Vintage & Handmade Fair takes place at The Marine Court Hotel, 18-20 Quay Street, Bangor on Sunday 31st July. The event takes place from 12-5pm and admission costs £3 for adults and children go free.
