We have time to catch our breath now before our onslaught of winter events begins - the first of which is The Wonderful Winter Vintage & Handmade Fair at Malone House Belfast on Sunday 6th November. It is going to be chock-a-block with amazing exhibitors selling vintage and handmade treasures, and this week's favourite finds are all from just a few of the people who will be taking part.........

We are getting super excited about our next event TOTAL STITCH & CRAFT FEST which will be taking place this Sunday 11th September at Ramada Plaza Belfast. And we have been doing some online window shopping spotting some fabulous pieces from the great exhibitors who will be there! These are just a few of our favourites ...............
Getting Autumn off to a great start with a creative burst of energy, TOTAL STITCH & CRAFT FEST will be returning to the Ramada Plaza Belfast on Sunday 11th September in a big celebration of all that is handcrafted and unique in Northern Ireland. It will be the perfect opportunity to get your hands on authentic Irish artisan products, stock up on quality craft supplies for your own creative pursuits, enjoy fun make-and-take workshops, and participate in the NI Big Sock record breaking attempt to create the world's largest patchwork Christmas stocking in Northern Ireland.
TOTAL STITCH & CRAFT FEST is a highly popular event held just twice a year and Sunday 11th September will be its 6th outing. A great hit with all ages, the event has become known as a fantastic creative day out, featuring not only a quality marketplace of over 50 Irish crafters and artisans, but also a popular Drop-In Workshop area where visitors of all ages can sit down to learn crafts in a fun atmosphere. Run by the ladies from The Craft Market the drop-in workshop area is free and participants get the opportunity to make and take something away with them.
Visitors will love to browse the quality stalls and select gorgeous fabrics and haberdashery from Fiddlesticks Fabrics and other craft purveyors like Norma Jean Vintage, Nitted Things and Iveagh Crafts.
There will also be a superb selection of designer and artisan stalls selling unique handmade products including fashion accessories, art, home décor & soft furnishings, jewellery, gifts, toys, artisan foods, and much more! Exhibitors will include Rebecca Denley Textile Artist, specialising in beautiful wall hangings and other stitched artworks, Emily Loves Vintage, maker of beautiful eclectic and limited edition jewellery, Rachel Julca Design, creator of ceramic pictures, birds and buttons, and Sea Dog and Sea Maiden, architect of handcrafted cosmetics, beard oils and balms.
Also on offer will be various other craft demonstrations and make-and-take activities including ceramics with Ciara Campbell, furniture upcycling with The White Cliffs Studio, decoupaging with Crafty Teas, and fabric flower making with Strombolitwo. We will be posting a full list of activities closer to the time.
TOTAL STITCH & CRAFT FEST will take place from 12-5pm on Sunday 11th September 2016 at Ramada Plaza, 117 Milltown Road, Shaws Bridge, Belfast BT8 7XP. Admission costs only £3 for adults and children go free.
We're delighted to let our crafty readers know that the wonderful Terri from A Fine Fish Yarns will be back with us at TOTAL STITCH FEST on Sunday 28th February at Ramada Plaza Belfast. Specialising in hand dyed yarn and hand knitting accessories her stall is always a riot of colour and the first place we visit! With delicious colour combinations from soft and subtle to bright and eye popping you can't help but be seduced, and your only problem will be deciding on a favourite. Fine Fish Yarns never hang around long so come on down early on 28th February to get your hands on the one you want!
