Happy New Year to all our readers and followers! We're back to sharing news on our blog now after a break over the festive season and are excited about all the fantastic events we have coming up in the first part of 2017. Kicking off the event calendar for this year is Stitch & Craft Fest which will be returning to the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Shaw's Bridge, Belfast on Sunday 5th February. We will have lots of news on this over the next few weeks but for now we would just like to introduce you to a few creative folks who are either new to our fairs for 2017 or who joined us towards the end of 2016............
We are currently drafting our Christmas shopping lists (yes we know we are early) but it's The Fall Into Winter Vintage & Handmade Fair this Sunday and we won't be able to resist all the handmade loveliness that will be on offer! These are just a few of our favourite finds from some of the great exhibitors who will be there..............
Getting Autumn off to a great start with a creative burst of energy, TOTAL STITCH & CRAFT FEST will be returning to the Ramada Plaza Belfast on Sunday 11th September in a big celebration of all that is handcrafted and unique in Northern Ireland. A great hit with all ages, the event has become known as a fantastic creative day out, featuring not only a quality marketplace of over 50 Irish crafters and artisans, but also a popular Drop-In Workshop area where visitors of all ages can sit down to learn crafts in a fun atmosphere. Visitors will love to browse the quality stalls and select gorgeous fabrics and haberdashery from Fiddlesticks Fabrics and other craft purveyors like Norma Jean Vintage, Nitted Things and Iveagh Crafts.
There will also be a superb selection of designer and artisan stalls selling unique handmade products including fashion accessories, art, home décor & soft furnishings, jewellery, gifts, toys, artisan foods, and much more! We fell in love with the adorable hand knitted animals and home decor items from Nitted Things when they appeared at Total Stitch Fest last month so we're delighted that they will be returning to join us again at The Spring Into Summer Vintage & Handmade Fair at Clandeboye Lodge on Sunday 3rd April! If you didn't get to seem them at Total Stitch Fest, here is a wee peek at the cuteness......
