Great news for savvy shoppers in Bangor, North Down and the Ards - Northern Ireland’s favourite vintage & lifestyle shopping event, our spectacular Frock Around The Clock Vintage & Handmade Fair, will be returning for its Fall Into Winter extravaganza, appearing at Marine Court Hotel on Sunday 2nd October.
As thoughts turn to hunting for unique Christmas gifts for our loved ones, we have been sourcing the best in crafty talent and vintage collectors to take the headache out of festive shopping. With around 40 high quality vintage dealers and creative designers specialising in vintage, handmade and upcycled fashion accessories, jewellery, furniture, homewares, collectables, art, textiles & decor, artisan food, curiosities, and so much more, there will be a spectacular variety of unique, quality and interesting things to see and buy.
Whether you are in search of stunning fashion accessories, authentic vintage treasures, beautiful and original handcrafted designs, or delicious edible goodies, this event has it all! It is the perfect place to find gorgeous things for you, your family and your home!
The impressive exhibitor list will include Norma Jean Vintage, offering a fabulous selection of vintage collectables and fine jewellery, The Natural Room Emporium, connoisseurs of authentic vintage furniture and homewares, Loving Spoonful, purveyor of silver jewellery upcycled from vintage and antique cutlery, Crafts By Inga, showcasing beautiful handmade merino felt scarves, hats and children’s accessories, The Beagle & The Blackbird, creators of a treasure trove of delightful needlefelted dolls and woodland animals, Rebecca Denley Textile Artist, designer of home décor and fashion accessories inspired by Ireland, and Emily Loves Vintage offering beautiful, limited-edition eclectic jewellery and quirky prints.
In addition to all the fabulous stalls, there will also be craft workshop taster sessions run by the lovely ladies from Crafty Teas and another fun opportunity to participate in the NI Big Sock record breaking attempt to create the world’s largest patchwork Christmas stocking right here in Northern Ireland. Co-ordinated by Pamela Emerson (aka The Crafty Historian) this year-long community project aims to get as many Northern Ireland people as possible involved in creating the world’s largest handsewn Christmas stocking – and you don’t even have to be able to sew to take part!
The Fall Into Winter Vintage & Handmade Fair will take place from 12-5pm on Sunday 2nd October 2016 at Marine Court Hotel, 18-20 Quay Street, Bangor BT20 5ED. Admission costs only £3 for adults, and children go free.
