If you haven't yet got to view the beautiful illustrations by the talented Piera Cirefice at our last couple of events then you are in luck as she will be back with us on Sunday 20th May for The Marvellous May Fair in Banbridge. An Irish illustrator, Piera recently graduated from Falmouth University. A love for the outdoors fuels her travel reportage work and through en plein air watercolours and sketches she captures the atmosphere of the living landscape, predominantly the Mourne Mountains and the Causeway Coast. Drawing on the natural environment Piera also uses traditional materials and techniques, creating a sense of atmosphere and emotional evocativeness within her work. For more information visit Piera's website and also find her on Facebook and Instagram. You will also be able to view Piera's work up close and purchase from her when she exhibits at our next event - The Marvellous May Fair taking place at Belmont Country House Hotel in Banbridge on Sunday 20th May.
It's been a while since Grahame and Jenny from The Natural Room Emporium exhibited with us so we are excited to announce that they will be back with us for our next event, The Marvellous May Fair at Belmont Country House Hotel in Banbridge on Sunday 20th May. Stocking an eclectic mix of antique, vintage, collectable and retro items which are both interesting and unique, they are always a big hit at our fairs! Grahame and Jenny say "we sell decorative antiques, vintage items and pretty much anything we feel is a little different or a break from the norm! We only ever buy pieces we like, we don’t simply buy to make a profit. That way we stay enthusiastic about not only the pieces we have in stock but those we’re still to find. It’s great because we never know what we’re going to discover next. Once we find a piece, if necessary, its restored, repaired, cleaned, polished and made ready for the home, restaurant, shop or wherever its final destination is to be. We spend time at auction, scour other dealers both in Northern Ireland and further afield, go to trade fairs, carry out house clearances or simply make things! Everything we do, we do ourselves. From sourcing to restoration, promotion and advertising, to shopkeeping and delivery, and that way we are able to keep our prices competitive!" Here is just a peek at some of their recent finds we love........ For more information visit The Natural Room Emporium on Facebook and Instagram, but don't forget to visit them at The Marvellous May Fair at Belmont Country House Hotel in Banbridge on Sunday 20th May where they will have a fantastic and eclectic selection of vintage and antique furniture, homewares and quirky objects for sale.
