Rose Cottage Events have one of the largest selections of beautiful original Postboxes in Ireland, and also a vast variety of other lovely vintage props to hire which are suitable for any occasion. The beautiful postboxes come in red, white, green and ivory. All are originals, and come with a lovely personalised insert for you to keep as a memento of your day. They are also supplied with one key only to ensure you have complete peace of mind that all your messages and gift envelopes received from your guests are kept safe and secure, so all you have to worry about is having a wonderful memorable day....whatever the event.
You can also hire a candy cart, chocolate ferris wheels and LED bases, wishing trees, a Ferrero Rocher heart tree, vintage step ladders, birdcages, lanterns, steamer trunks and much more. Some of the other props available include a fabulous selection of original vintage typewriter’s dating from 1906 to the early 1930’s, gorgeous original ostrich feather fans dating back to the early 1900’s, a beautiful original telephone dating back to the 1920’s/30’s, and an original General Electric fan dating back to the late 1800’s/early 1900’s.
Rose Cottage Events offer a number of beautiful original vintage step ladders which have been lovingly restored by John and Annie, two sets of which are flat topped so they can be used to hold their unique postboxes. All of the step ladders can be used as seating plans and dressed to suit your theme, creating a strong focal point. They can also supply message boards which your guests can peg little personal messages on.
You can opt to collect any hire items yourself, or choose the Set Up option, whereby the lovely Rose Cottage folks will liaise with your venue to ensure the display is in keeping with your chosen theme. And they are also very keenly priced, so you can have a stress free day without breaking the bank!
There are also beautiful original steam trunks available which date from the 1920’s and 40’s, and which have also been lovingly restored. These can be used for seating plans, letters & messages, and of course as a lovely piece of art to have as a focal point for your occasion. There are also some smaller original vintage suitcases which can be used in the same way, or filled with beautiful flowers for a pretty and nostalgic display.
